I Love To Singa

I've already mentioned my fondness for Cab Calloway - Here he is with Al Jolson, doing I Love To Singa, from the movie The Singing Kid, in 1936. My dad hated Jolson, but I find him sort of weirdly fascinating.



My most favorite version of that song is this one, though - "Owl Jolson" in a WB Merry Melodies cartoon, also 1936.
