Thoughts Of Spring
Japonisme, who has some of the loveliest images in blogdom, has a post entitled "Yellow Bird," which gave me a hint of Spring. Even the decidedly-unfashionable me found these two posts highly interesting, as well. Gustav Klimt is one of the few "modern" painters I like. His works, at least, have recognizable objects in them and I like his jewellike colors. I like some of Paul Klee's stuff, too, generally because of color -- even though his most recognizable objects are fish. Perhaps that's because I'm Pisces. :-)
